What is Spring Family Day?
A family-friendly on-campus celebration designed for students and their families to reconnect during the semester, enjoy time together, and make lasting memories.
The 2026 event features a fair–themed experience with classic fair food, activities, and the opportunity to attend a softball and/or baseball game nearby.

Saturday, March 7, 2026
12:00 – 3:00 pm

Where is Spring Family Day located?
The signature event will take place at the University Events Center (UEC) Green located at the corner of Aquarena Springs and Charles Austin Drive.
Attendees can expect an outdoor event with tables, chairs, and tents for shade.

Who is invited to Spring Family Day?
All current Texas State students and their families are invited to attend!

What is included in my free Spring Family Day registration?
Spring Family Day is free to attend with optional purchases available (food vouchers, t-shirts) to enhance your experience.
Free registration includes all fair games, face painting, and other activities provided.
Activities are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is Parking Free?
Yes! Free parking is available for Spring Family Day*. See the Parking page for more details.
*Note that pay-to-park garages are not included in free parking options.

Where Do I Register for Spring Family Day?

Where Should I Check In Upon Arrival?
There will be a clearly marked table at the University Events Center (UEC) green, located at the corner of Aquarena Springs and Charles Austin Drive, for check in and pick up of purchased items day-of. It is helpful to have your confirmation email on your mobile device for the quickest check in experience.

Where Can I Pick Up My Optional Purchases?
Any items purchased (food vouchers, t-shirts) will be available for pick up at the check in table.
Please note that theatre tickets and athletics purchases are entirely separate from the Signature Event and are not handled by the New Student and Family Experiences office; see the schedule for purchase details.

Are Theatre and Athletics Purchases Picked Up at Check In?
No; purchases made through the Theatre Department and Athletics will be picked up via their respective processes. Pay special attention to the confirmation email for those purchases for all details.
